Three golfers are top of the leaderboard after the first days play at The Senior Open Championship at Carnoustie in Scotland.
Germanys Bernard Langer, England’s Carl Mason and Americas Jay Don Blake are all four under par 67.
Mason is trying for his 24th Senior Tour Title, and his first Senior Tour Major. He came close to winning The Senior Open in 2005, but lost in a play-off to Tom Watson.
Despite dominating the Champion Tour in recent years, he has been top in the Order of Merit in both 2008 and 2009; two times Masters Winner Bernard Langer has not won a Senior Major Tournament. He has played in 13 Senior Majors and finished in the top ten seven times.
Blake is also chasing his first Senior Major Title; his only US PGA victory was 19 years ago. He came 8th in this year’s US Senior PGA Championships
US Ryder Cup Captain Corey Pavin is tying for 7th place in a large group 2 under par.
Meanwhile Forgan Sponsored former Masters Winner, Ian Woosnam is tying for 27th place on one over 72.
Also taking part in the Senior Open is another Forgan staff player. D.J Russell who is tied 61 on four over.
